Hot wax is spread thickly onto the skin and allowed to dry slightly before it is gently peeled away. This method is less painful than most and pulls hair directly from the root. The benefits include fewer in-grown hairs, less breakage and therefore longer re-growth periods.
The hot wax also promotes skin hydration and is highly recommended for sensitive areas. Premium strip wax is recommended for thicker/less sensitive skin, for example – legs, arms, back, chest, and shoulders. A thin layer of wax is applied to the skin and is then removed using a paper strip.
Basic bikini – Hair is removed from top and sides of the bikini area.
G-string – Little more removed than basic bikini. Hair is removed from the top and then follow the line of a g-string underneath.
Brazilian – Removes all of the hair from underneath and leaves only a strip or small triangle of hair in front (hair is also removed from the area between the buttocks).
Hollywood – Everything off!
Basic bikini: you will be given the option to wear disposable paper pants or your own pants.
G-string: (same as basic) but g-string pants are advised should you choose to wear your own.
For Hollywood and Brazilian you will be required to remove your underwear.
Absolutely! You will need to wear a freshly changed tampon before going into your treatment. (you may use the toilet facilities beforehand to freshen up).
You may notice a small amount of growth after a week or so. It can take up to four treatments for your hair to get into a growth cycle that gives best results. We recommend waxing every 4 weeks to maintain your smooth appearance.
Keep the waxed area clean, and avoid heat and friction during the next 24 hours. This means:
To maintain smooth, healthy skin, begin exfoliating every 4–7 days, starting 3 days after your waxing treatment.
It’s completely normal to experience mild redness, small bumps, or slight tenderness—especially if this is your first wax. These symptoms should naturally subside within 24–48 hours. We recommend using Lycons Ingrown Xit Spray which contains salicylic acid and gentle enough for everyday use – available to purchase here or buy in salon. Cosmetic Tattooing is more superficial than body art tattoos and the pigments used are extremely different to inks used on the body. Cosmetic Tattooing fades to allow for facial movements, ageing and changes in trends.
Sat provides Cosmetic Tattooing treatments to the eyebrows, lips and eye line.
Two visits are required to complete your cosmetic tattoo procedure. Failure to attend your second visit within the allocated amount of time will forfeit your second visit. The second visit is needed to perfect your new eyebrows. At this appointment small edits can be made, colour adjusted and shape played with.
If major changes to the original design are made, a third visit may be required. Some clients who; have oily skin, taking medications, extremely active, require a change in design, colour or want to go darker or lighter may require an additional perfection visit. The amount of time a Cosmetic Tattooing lasts varies vastly from person to person. Every effort is made by Sat to ensure the longevity of every tattoo by providing the most up to date and state of the art techniques and aftercare. On average most clients get between 8 – 18 months out of their cosmetic tattoo before needing a maintenance visit. If a client chooses not to continue with Cosmetic Tattooing their initial design will eventually fade.
Please note that powder brows by machine will typically last longer than microblading.
Pigments are used for Cosmetic Tattooing. Pigments are different to the inks that are used in body art. Pigments are made of metals and minerals that the body breaks down and utilises over time. Everyone fades at different rates. Factors which affect Cosmetic Tattooing retention includes but is not limited to; vitamin and mineral levels of client, medical circumstances, sun exposure, facial exfoliation, activity levels, skin type (oily, dry, combination), aftercare procedure.
Sat provides each client with the best possible treatment and post care advice to ensure the longevity of each and every tattoo.
Dry healing is recommended by Sat. Therefore you will need to organise your daily schedule to accommodate for a minimum of 7 days of dry healing (no getting your eyebrows wet), no sweating and no exercise.
Your eyebrows will go through a 4 week healing process which will involve them initially being dark for up to 5 – 10 days, then will then flake and the true colour will show over the total 4 weeks healing time.
All results vary per person. Detailed aftercare is given to every client at their treatment.
Sat works with clients to discuss and draw in the right shape based on clients face, skull shape, natural eyebrow, lip and eye shapes. No tattooing starts until both Sat and the client are happy.
Please bare in mind that no ones face is symmetrical and although Sat does her utmost to ensure symmetry, this may not always be possible to achieve.
Ombré Powder brows:
Ombré powder brow designed to replicate a fuller style eyebrow or a pencilled in brow. Ombre brows are designed to fade towards the fronts of the brows. The ombre can be made a full or as soft as the client requires. This will be discussed with clients at their appointment during the consultation. Ombre brows are better suited for all skin types but especially oilier skin.
Combination Brows:
A soft, ombre style eyebrow combined with micro hair strokes. Combination brows can be made a fluffy as the client wants by placing more micro hair strokes throughout the brow. This is discussed during the consultation part of an appointment.
Combination brows are most suitable for combination to dry skin types.
Safer Practice Lip Filler is a new safer injection technique of lip augmentation using a special device called the ‘Lip Genius’. This method is less painful with less post treatment trauma such as bruising/swelling! It also allows more accurate product administration with beautiful results.
Does it hurt?
Numbing is applied pre treatment and some of the fillers contain Lidocaine for those with very low pain thresholds. This will ensure treatment is comfortable throughout.
What can I expect during my treatment?
Sat will go through your completed consultation forms and discuss what your expectations are then select a suitable lip filler based on this. Once your lips are suitably numb, and you are comfortable on the treatment bed, Sat will cleanse your lips then mark out injection points. Next she will use the Lip Genius device to carefully inject precise amounts of filler to achieve plump beautiful lips. Definitely no ‘trout pout!’ Once this is done, Sat will firmly massage your lips with arnica gel to ensure filler is distributed evenly, alongside checking blood flow is normal too. She will make sure you are happy with results, go through full aftercare and arrange a two week review or top up if needed.
What should I expect post treatment?
Lips will feel a little swollen for a few days post treatment, bruising and lumps are also common but less so with the Safer Practice Lip Filler Genius. A cold compress can be applied to help with swelling, or taking an anti histamine. Please allow 2 weeks for lip filler to settle, Sat will ensure that your lips are reviewed at this point to ensure all is well.
Can I get a full lip at my first treatment?
Virgin lips require a slow build up of lip filler sometimes over multiple sessions. Too much too soon can have undesirable results. Please think of it like building a house, first foundation needs to be laid then the bricks etc. Sat will recommend top ups if needed.

Botched Ink is a saline solution that closely resembles the skins natural pH, this means it’s gentle on the skin. During treatment there’s no lingering burn or sting, just a short mild sting towards the end of the treatment, and this lets us know we’ve soaked the skin sufficiently for the best removal. Botched Ink quickly dries out the treated area, and any pigment healed into that skin; pigment is then lifted and removed during the skins natural healing process. Botched Ink causes minimal inflammation or irritation, so the healing process it pretty non- eventful. There’s a bonus too, a Botched Ink dried out skin scab is shades of brown, a great colour for eyebrows – You might even get complimented on your new brows!
Any kind of tattoo removal is a process and Botched Ink is no different. Although we’ve seen some great results after just one session, most clients will see improvements after 2-3 sessions. It’s worth mentally and financially committing to a course of 3 treatments before starting, and during the consultation we can assess how easily the pigment is likely to remove from your skin. Whilst we can’t give you an exact number of sessions to fully remove unwanted pigment, you’ll be able to understand the removal process and know what you’re in for.
